I started this site as a way to improve both my writting and design. I have a tendency to fret over the technicalities of setting up a site (blog) without actually ever starting on what matters, writing content. 

Sometimes I would wax lirically about an article that I could write and how interesting that might be, but I stop short of actually going ahead with it. I aim to do something about it through the medium of this website.

I write about living in the Netherlands from the perspective of an expat coming over from UK. 

At the time of writing (August 2019) I have articles about the Dutch language, news from the Netherlands and some about life here. 

While some posts may be informative, many others are literally my thoughts on various subjects.
