fewer Dutch people go on a ski holiday

I just read this NOS article which says that there about 20% less people going in a skiing holiday that in 2000. The reasons given are the increased price of a winter holiday, the fact the population is getting older in the Netherlands with skiing being a young people’s sport. While for many people a holiday in the sun is a must, the skiing holiday is an extra.
